Bio

Emily represents the firm’s clients in all areas of estate planning, probate, and incompetency and guardianship proceedings. Emily is also experienced in corporate law, including business entity formation and representation of small businesses, civil litigation, and bankruptcy law and litigation.

Emily is a member of the Estate Planning and Elder Law sections of the North Carolina Bar Association. She has been a member of the Durham-Orange Estate Planning Council since 2008, served on its Board of Directors since 2009, and is a past president of the Council. Emily also acts as an appointed Public Administrator in service to the Orange County Clerk of Superior Court.
